Microwave Caramel Corn - Quick and Easy
1 large brown grocery bag
3-4 quarts popped corn (use 6-8 quarts for less caloric servings)
1 cup brown sugar
1 stick margarine
¼ cup white corn syrup
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon baking soda
Put popped corn into grocery bag. Combine all ingredients except soda and popcorn
in 2 quart microwave dish. Bring to a boil, then cook on full power for 2 minutes.
Remove from microwave and stir in soda then pour mixture over popcorn in bag:
close bag and shake well to mix. Cook on high for 1 minute. Shake bag: cook
another minute. Shake bag: cook 1 more minute. Repeat once more if needed. Cool,
stirring occasionally. EAT. ENJOY.
Store any leftovers on an airtight container
