Pre heat the oven to 350c Lightly coat the inside of a covered
baking dish with butter and set aside.
In a medium mixing bowl add combine the Flour, Rolled Oats, Brown Sugar and
Baking Powder. Mix well. Cut in the cold butter. Prepare the crumble mixture
with a pastry blender till it resembles course crumbs. Set aside.
Core and slice up the apples. The original recipe calls for the fruit to be coated with a blend of 1 cup sugar & 1 tlbs flour. You can omit the sugar if you like the fruit on its own.
Line the baking dish with the sliced apples and dust with Cinnamon. Pour the crumble mix over top and lightly pack.
Place in the hot oven and cook for 45 minutes. Take off the lid for the last 10 minutes and turn up the heat to 375c.
Serve with fresh cream or ice cream.
